Dr. Nicole P. Wagner was born and raised in the home of the Ravens Baltimore, Maryland. With nothing but love for her hometown she attended Sojourner-Douglass College to obtain Bachelor’s degree in Substance Abuse Counseling. In the pursuit of achieving higher education Dr. Nicole went on to obtain her Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from both Coppin State University and the University of Baltimore and later her PhD in Business Management with a focus in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University. Dr. Nicole is the Director of Community Outreach for Flaws-R-Fab which provides bully prevention and leadership training for young people. She is a Board Member of Protect Our Girls Campaign which addresses sexual abuse against young girls and the Founder of Three Star Purpose which promotes wellness through mind, body and spirit.
She has committed her passion for helping others reach their full potential through her 20 year commitment in the human service field. Dr. Nicole currently works in the Behavioral Health Industry as a Peer Recovery Supervisor where she oversee admissions and discharges and she works through her organization in collaboration with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office on the Needle Exchange Oversight Committee with a focus in addressing the Opioid Crisis and Overdoses. In addition, she is a published author of online business journals and SURGE Uncuffed Anthology Book where she and several other influential women collaborated on a book that inspires, and empowers women to take control of their lives. Dr. Nicole is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated where she has held various positions of leadership.
Dr. Nicole is a freelance writer for True Self Magazine, plus size model, mentor, and positive body image promoter. On a mission to teach others to be the proprietor of their body image Dr. Nicole uses her multiple fitness certifications to teach individual body acceptance with confidence. She is also an avid voice for individuals/children violated through sexual abuse. In her participation in the 2018 END THE SILENCE documentary she shares her personal triumph and offers help to those currently suffering. While busy Dr. Nicole understands the importance of self-care and maintaining happiness and life balance. When she is not working or working on her other projects you can find her blogging. She values the saying “Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful” and with that she encourages everyone to find themselves in the image God created them and be “Unapologetically them.” She has won the 2016 Humanitarian Award from Bon Secours Mercy Health, Surviving Warrior Award from We Fight You Fight organization, and Longevity Award from Zeta Phi Beta, Inc.
Through Dr. Nicole’s life experiences, accomplishments and determination the greater thing she prides herself on is living in her truth unapologetically. She says we all should apologize with correction when necessary and always give back.
